My story
I’m James Hible, and I’ve been mad about football since I was big enough to kick a ball. With over 200 shirts from around the world in my collection and a head full of football facts and trivia, I’m the guy you want on your pub quiz team.
But I’ve always had another passion running alongside football. Drawing.
While my mates were outside playing, I’d often be at home with my sketchbook. After studying graphic design and illustration at university, I found a way to merge my two loves into something special. Now, I create vibrant, hand-drawn football illustrations from my studio in Worcestershire.
Every piece starts with pencil and paper, then gets meticulously refined in Adobe Illustrator until it’s perfect at any size.
What I do
I capture football’s most iconic moments through hand-drawn digital illustrations.
No AI. No shortcuts. Just genuine craftsmanship and an obsessive eye for detail.
My work spans three areas. I create commissioned pieces for fans who want their personal football memories transformed into unique pieces of art. I work with football clubs and publications on professional illustration projects. And I offer a collection of ready-to-buy prints featuring iconic players and moments.
